Statement of Faith

  • We believe God the Father is the Creator and sustainer of all things, and created the universe and that He created man in His own image for worship, fellowship and to fulfill the God given destiny within each individual.  That He is the one and only true living God, that reveals Himself as the Trinity; God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, 1:21, 1:27, 2:4, 5:1-2; Isaiah 45:12; Isaiah 48:7; Isaiah 43:10,11; Luke 3:22)

  • We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and son of man, that He came to save man from  sin by offering His blood on the cross for all who accept Him as Lord and Savior.  The result is salvation, healing for the human body in mind, will, emotions, as well as physically (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; John 3:16;  I Corinthians 15:3; II Corinthians 5:21; Isaiah 53:4,5; James 5:14,15; I Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17)

  • We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and in the bold resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved  to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation (Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 24:31-46; Acts 24:15; Revelation 22:11)

  • We believe in Baptism by water immersion after a person has accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior   (Acts 2:38;  Acts 19:4,5;  Matthew 28:19;  Romans 6:3-4;  I Peter 3:21)

  • We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling within the Christian enables the fruits of the Spirit (Matthew 7:20; Romans 8:5; Galatians 5:22).  Further, that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it and is exhibited through any of the gifts listed in Scripture  (Joel 2:28;  Acts 1:4-8, 2:4).  With it comes the power for life and service for the work of the ministry (Acts 1:4, 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

  • We believe the Bible was given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infallible, and God’s revealed word to man and that it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness (II Timothy 3:16)

  • We believe in tithing and giving offerings to the Lord.  It is our belief that God plainly states that when you trust Him with your finances you will be rewarded and all of your needs will be supplied for by Him  (Leviticus 27:30, 32; Numbers 18:26; Malachi 3:5,8,10; Hebrews 7:6, 8 )

  • We believe the Lord’s Supper is to be a celebration of the victory that Christ obtained on the cross.  We believe this to be an act of remembrance and is open to all who call Him Lord.  (Matthew 26:26-28; I Corinthians 10:16; I Corinthians 11:23-26)
